What Farah Wore: Valentine's Day
Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I don't really go all out on Valentine's Day as I used to when I was younger, but I wanted to share with you my favorite Valentine's Day outfit.
1. Midi Skirt: I love wearing a skirt or dress during Valentine's Day. It's feminine and delicate. However, since it's about 20 degrees outside, I think a Midi Skirt is a GREAT alternative. I recommend wearing heels with it (especially if you are petite -- you will drown in this skirt).2. Silk Blouse: A cream/white silk blouse should be a staple to any wardrobe! It looks great with a pair of denim jeans or tucked in under a skirt. I thought about wearing a pink blouse, but I love the contrast of the cream and red. Looks stunning.
3. Leopard Pumps: I actually love the red strappy heels from this look, but I paired it with leopard pumps. It really makes the outfit pop!
4. Red Lips: Always. A red lip is perfect for any holiday and especially Valentine's Day. YSL Le Rouge is my all time favorite lipstick. Dab some concealer on your lip prior to applying the lipliner and lipstick. Your lips will be red all night (and throughout dinner). Other great red lipstick brands are MAC Ruby Woo (worn by Rihanna) and NARS Jungle Red (worn by Taylor Swift). I think any of these would look great tonight!
5. Dangle Earrings: With my short hair, I love dangly earrings. My Tory Burch Circle Earring is my absolute favorite. Great quality! Gold and red are a match made in heaven and look absolutely stunning together.
I didn't post this, but I paired all of this with my cream double-cloth J-Crew coat. You can also pair it with a nice boyfriend blazer in black. If you want to go crazy, wear a fur coat or even a patterned jacket (jacquard, neutral, or a different shade of red)
Happy Valentine's Day!

For all my fellow #basicbitches
I definitely get the #basicbitch hashtag but #comfybitch seems more appropriate. This post goes out to all my basic bitches and my favorite "basic bitch" items.
North Face: I am obsessed with my North Face Osito 2 Jacket in black with gold detailing. I am a sucker for any gold detailing (as it looks so much more chic than silver). This jacket is so soft and warm. Definitely one of my favorite gifts I have received this Christmas.
Ugg Australia: I just really like the classic tall Uggs. I'm a size 6 so I can easily fit into a big kids 4 (check out my post on petite wear and sizing) which is awesome (and less expensive). I have a pair of the black and chestnut and wear them all the time during the winter. If you are looking to branch out of the typical "Uggs", the Callie Style is super flattering and looks great with denim and leggings (this is the kids sizing, but I am sure they have a similar one for adults). Also, I read a Vogue article stating Uggs are back (although, let's be real, they never left!)
Leggings: I own about 20 leggings from Forever 21 in black. They are about $3-4. It's so cheap that I constantly stock up! My favorite expensive leggings are the Lululemon Wunder Pant or the Fabletics Long Leggings. Cheaper leggings often appear transparent (especially when you sit down), these are my "going somewhere fancy" leggings... because in my world you can wear leggings in all situations!
Purse: My favorite purse right now is my Tory Burch Robinson Tote. Might as well look good when you're being #basic. I love the structure of this purse which actually makes it more timeless. If you want to splurge (even more), the YSL Sac de Jour tote is TO DIE FOR. I can't wait to one day get my hands on this. If my boyfriend is reading this post... this is a hint for him ;)

My Holiday Party Outfit
After all the hustle and bustle, I never posted my holiday outfit! This may be my favorite outfit I have ever worn. Love a classic black and red combo. I bought a pair of Louboutins in college, which i saved forever for. I am now on a mission to purchase a nude pair. I will tell you this, these are not "go out on the town" shoes. Not very comfortable. I prefer my LK Bennett's for those nights. These are more for a dinner party.
The lace jumpsuit is just fab! I know I have posted this everywhere but as a petite woman, I never find jumpsuits that fit so perfectly! If you want to try a jumpsuit and may be a little scared, this is the jumpsuit for you! The lace detailing is absolutely GORGEOUS on. Highly recommend!!!

I love mixing hot pinks and black. I posted a small picture of my outfit. I will try my best to do that more often to verify the authenticity of what I post, but single-handedly trying to take a photo by myself, with my Iphone, is challenging. Also, I would like to give a shoutout to my friend Courtney who led me to this fuchsia and hot pink trend by introducing me to the YSL Lipstick. ADORE! LIFE CHANGED!
